University of Michigan Depression Center The University of Michigan Depression Center is the first ever multi-disciplinary center dedicated to research, education, and treatment of depressive and bipolar illnesses. It brings together the world-class resources from the U-M Health System and almost all the U-M Schools and Colleges. It has sponsored the unique, annual Depression on College Campuses conference since 2003. John F. Greden, MD, directs the Center and has served in several national leadership roles in the mental health field. Dr. Greden has been a key supporter of the Healthy Minds Study.

Survey Sciences Group, LLC (SSG) The survey is administered by the Survey Sciences Group, LLC (SSG), a social science survey research firm located in Ann Arbor, MI. Scott Crawford, a Research Consultant at SSG, received a B.A. in Sociology from the University of the Pacific in Stockton, CA and a M.A. in Applied Social Research from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor, Michigan. Mr. Crawford serves as the HMS Study Director and Survey Methodologist.
