Scott Crawford
Scott D. Crawford founded the Survey Sciences Group, LLC in 2004, and the Center for Student Studies in 2005, and continues to lead the organization as its Chief Executive Officer. He is a recognized expert in high-quality survey research methodology for the social sciences whose experience spans internet, mail, telephone, and face-to-face data collection. Mr. Crawford has been a pioneer in championing the use of the internet as a viable survey medium, and continues to lead the industry with his web-based survey expertise. His others interests include multi-modal data collection, studying student populations, and epidemiological research for alcohol and other drug use. He has also been certified as a focus group moderator by the RIVA Training Institute in Bethesda, Maryland. Mr. Crawford earned a master’s degree in Applied Social Research from the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor, and a bachelor’s degree in sociology from the University of the Pacific in Stockton, California.
